Hailing from Sri Lanka, Stigmata was formed in late 1999 with the hopes of creating a musical venture free of boundaries, guidelines and paradigms. 「Hollow Dreams」 is Stigmata's debut Album, launched at a historical concert in 2003 and to this day has sold a little over 5000 copies. 「Hollow Dreams」 shows the band's early vision as teenagers and their drive to be innovative at any cost. Independently released…「Hollow Dreams」 is now a stepping stone for many an artiste in Asia. It features Stigmata's live anthems "Thicker than Blood", the evocative "Voices", the ferocious thrash epic "Dezra", the progressive masterpiece "Stigmatized", the cacophonic death/doom inspired "Extinction" and the groundbreaking eastern meets Metal "Andura". 「Hollow Dreams」 is a well honed 11 track album that is dark, disturbing and concept woven to shock and soothe at the same time.
